imageOn today, Pakistan team will take on England in the 1st T20 of 3-match series at Dubai international Cricket stadium, Dubai.

Pakistan won the three-Test series 2-0 under Misbah ul Haq’s captaincy but England bounced back to take the One-Day International series 3-1.

According to media reports, Shahid Afridi said, “We want to settle down before the World Twenty20. Besides that we are ranked No. 2, so it's an important series for us in many ways and we will do our best to win it”.

The men in green are not short of quality players in their squad as they have experienced players such as Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal alongside charismatic T20 skipper Afridi, who needs to deliver in the T20 series.

However, England, which won the ICC World T20 in 2010, is ranked No. 8 in the shortest format but Trevor Bayliss, the coach, believes its success in the ODI series last week could give the squad a lot of confidence and help it play better than the ranking suggests.

Pakistan team will be eager to defeat England after their below par showing in the ODI series.
