MULTAN: Habib Bank Limitd (HBL) Faisalabad and Micro Fiance Bank have won their quarter finals in the 12th SBP Governor's cup inter-banks regional cricket tournament 2015-16.
The first quarter final match was played between HBL Faisalabad and UBL here at Multan cricket stadium.
Playing first, HBL Faisalabad made 145 runs in the 20 overs.
UBL could make 121 runs for the lost of all wickets and the HBL Faisalabad won the match by 24 runs. Ali Raza of HBL was declared man of the match as he scored 33 runs.
The second quarter final was played between first microfinance bank and Meezan bank.
First microfinance bank playing first made 141 runs in 17 fixed over due to bad light condition.
Meezan bank could score only 104 runs all out and first micrfinance bank won the match with 37 runs. Shahid Bashir was declared man of the match as he scored 47 runs and took three wickets.
