All charges against Pakistani batman Umar Akmal were dismissed on Friday and he has been included in the T20 squad against England.
According to media reports, the cricketer has been given a clean-sheet by the PCB officials, as Akmal has already denied any wrong doing after being caught at a dance party in Hyderabad.
Umar Akmal had been facing an inquiry from the PCB and he was served with a show-cause notice after media in Pakistan reported that he was found involved in ‘suspicious activities’. Indications are that Umar will eventually be cleared and allowed to join the Pakistan T20 squad.
A few days back, PCB said that Umar Akmal was dropped from the squad for attending a dance party. The board, however, did not specify the details.
Pakistan will play against England in a three-match T20 series starting November 26 in the UAE.
