Former Pakistani right-handed batsman Mohammad Yousuf wants Mohammad Amir to return back to the Pakistan squad for the series against England.
According to local media report, “Mohammad Amir should be added to the Pakistan squad for the series against England,” said Mohammad Yousuf.
Amir who was banned from International Cricket for a period of 5 years is all set to make his comeback into the International Cricket very soon as his ban ends in September this year. Shoaib Malik has been included in the test squad for the first time since 2010, as well as Fawad Alam, who is already making a comeback to international cricket after six years.
Amir was one of the best bowlers in international cricket, having taken 51 wickets in Tests, 25 in one-day internationals and 23 in Twenty20 matches.
The three-Test series against England kicks off with the first match in Abu Dhabi from October 13. The second and third Tests will be played in Dubai and Sharjah from October 22 and November 1, respectively.
