imageFormer Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has criticized former players Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, as he feels they didn’t deserve a second chance.

According to local media reports Rashid Latif said, “I will not support their comeback to international cricket simply because they will replace someone who might not be as talented as them but has done nothing ethnically or morally wrong and had not indulged in corruption”.

“This is the biggest injustice you can do to players who play clean cricket. The way I look at this situation it is very wrong for that person to play again for Pakistan who has been involved in corruption and cheating. It is not right for those players who have played by the rules,” added Latif.

It is not just Latif who is against their return, however some other cricketers such as Former chief selector and head coach of Pakistan, Mohsin Khan and Test opener and presently a cricket analyst, Bazid Khan and former captain and famous cricket commentator, Ramiz Raja are also against allowing the trio back into the Pakistan.

The former wicketkeeper Latif has played 166 ODIs and 37 Tests for Pakistan. On 2 September, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif will be eligible to return to competitive cricket, at both domestic and international levels.
