imagePakistan’s fast bowler Wahan Riaz, has been ruled out of the two-match Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka following a hand injury.

Wahab Riaz, who suffered a hairline fracture on his left-hand on the opening day of the second Test in Colombo, was earlier ruled out of the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. As per reports Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement that the Riaz still feels stiffness in his bowling hand and, therefore, has withdrawn himself from T20s squad.

The selectors had already named his replacement in T20 series against Sri Lanka, newcomer left-arm pacer Ziaul Haq. Reportedly, he was expected to start bowling from July 24 at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play two Twenty20 matches on July 30 and August 1, both to be played in Colombo. This will also wrap Pakistan tour to Sri Lanka.
