LAHORE: Terming Pakistan a safe state, Zimbabwean journalists have said that world witnessed a successful and secured T20 and ODI series.
Talking to APP here at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, the journalists who had came with the Zimbabwean cricket delegation praised the security situation in Pakistan and its hospitality.
Kevin Maparwra, a reporter of Zimbabwean famous daily "News Day" said that Pakistan is a safe state for sports and there is no threat for any international event, adding that every cricket board should sent its teams to Pakistan, he added.
Appreciating the security arrangements made by the government of Pakistan, he said that "we were feeling threats before visiting Pakistan but the government provided security more than our aspirations".
Zimbabwean journalists said that people have also honoured them with love and hospitality which could never be forgotten, he added.
He described the tour as quite fruitful, adding that it was an opportunity for the two countries to build people-to-people interaction as well. "I would like to indicate to the world especially the test-playing nations that Pakistan is a safe country to play cricket", he concluded.
