DHAKA: Pakistan captain Azhar Ali won the toss and elected to bat in the third and final one-day international against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Pakistan, who have already conceded a decisive 2-0 lead, will try to deny the hosts a clean sweep of the series.
Bangladesh won the first match by 79 runs and the second by seven wickets.
Pakistan dropped off-spinner Saeed Ajmal, vice-captain Sarfraz Ahmed and injured paceman Rahat Ali to play Umar Gul, Zulfiqar Babar and the uncapped Sami Aslam.
Bangladesh retained the same side from the previous game.
