After a long wait and debate finally the guesses are over, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has took is final decision and changed the entire structure of Pakistan Cricket team.
According to latest update, Azhar Ali has been named the new captain of Pakistan cricket team in ODI, while wicket keeper cum batsman Sarfraz Ahmed will be his vice-captain. The media reports have said that, Azhar Ali has received the maximum support of former players and management while Sarfraz doesn’t left far behind.
Meanwhile, PCB also decided to persists with skipper Misbah-ul-Haq in the Test games, while Azhar Ali is being named as vice-captain of test matches.
However, Sarfraz is also expected to lead alone in Twenty20 formats against Bangladesh while skipper Shahid Afridi seemed sidelined.
Pakistan veteran batsman Younis Khan is dropped form One Day matches while shining star Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan and Mohammad Hafeez are expected to hit the ground again.
Along with Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal and Umar Gul are still out for the upcoming series against Bangladesh.
