imageDUBAI: Pakistan, set a target of 261, reached 114-4 at tea on the fifth and final day of the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai on Friday.

They now need 147 more runs in a possible 28 overs while New Zealand need six wickets for a series-levelling win at Dubai International cricket stadium.

Younis Khan (30) and Asad Shafiq (11) were at the crease after Trent Boult brought New Zealand back in the game with two quick wickets.

Earlier Ross Taylor hit a brilliant 104 -- his 12th Test century -- to set up New Zealand's declaration on 250-9.

Leg-spinner Yasir Shah took a career-best 5-79 and left-armer Zulfiqar Babar took 4-96.

Pakistan won the first Test by 248 runs in Abu Dhabi.
