DUBAI: New Zealand were bowled out for 403 in their first innings in the second Test against Pakistan in Dubai on Tuesday.
New Zealand were 278-6 but the tail wagged and added 125 for the last four wickets with Mark Craig hitting 43 and BJ Watling 39.
Resuming at 243-3 New Zealand lost centurion Tom Latham without adding to his overnight score of 137.
Left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar finished with 4-137 while Yasir Shah and Ehsan Adil took two wickets apiece.
Pakistan lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test by 248 runs in Abu Dhabi.
