LEEDS: England, after losing the toss, made 294 for seven against India in the fifth and final one-day international at Headingley on Friday.
Joe Root marked his first ODI at his Yorkshire home ground by top-scoring with 113 -- England's first hundred of the series -- and sharing a fifth-wicket partnership of 108 with Jos Buttler (49).
World champions India have already won the series by taking a 3-0 lead.
