HAMBANTOTA: Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the first one-day international in Hambantota on Saturday to take the lead in the three-match series.
Pakistan, chasing a Duckworth-Lewis target of 275 from 45 overs in the rain-interrupted match, scraped home off the penultimate ball.
The second match will be held at the same venue on Tuesday.
