KARACHI: Australian left-handed batsman Shaun Marsh and fast pace bowler Ryan Harris is out of upcoming Pakistan series due to injury.
According to media reports, “Marsh suffered the elbow injury during the 2014 edition of the Indian Premier League and is hopeful of making a return to the national squad ahead of the home series against India this December”.
While, Harris will not be a part of Australian squad due to his knee injury.
“Cricket Australia’s confirmation on Harris was widely expected, given that he had not even started running yet after having major knee surgery in March. It is unclear whether Harris will be fit for Australia’s home Tests against India, but the team physio Alex Kountouris is hopeful that he will be bowling again before Christmas and could be in the mix,” media reported.
Australia-Pakistan series is likely to happen in October in UAE.
