Rosberg takes pole as Hamilton hopes go up in smoke BUDAPEST: Germany's Nico Rosberg will start from pole position for Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix after his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton saw his car catch fire in the opening minutes of qualifying without recording a time. Four-time world champion and fellow German Sebastian Vettel will start alongside Rosberg from the front row in his Red Bull while Finland's Valtteri Bottas in a Williams and Daniel Ricciardo in the second Red Bull make up row two.
