shehnaz wazir ali 400ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Social Development Shehnaz Wazir Ali has said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government is fully committed to conduct fair, free and transparent elections.

 

She said that next general elections would be held in time.

 

Talking to a private television channel, she said President Asif Ali Zardari has shown full commitment for free and fair polls and continuity of democratic process in the country.

 

She said that Interim set up would formed according to the Constitution and in consultation with all the political stakeholders.

 

Replying to question, she said every person holds the political freedom for protest and demonstration but maintenance of law and order is priority of government, she added.

 

She said that PPP would not come under pressure from any non political element, which holds foreign sponsored agenda to derail the democracy.

 

Replying to another question, she said that all the political parties are willing to conduct elections in time.
