ISLAMABAD: Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Nadeem Afzal Gondal on Thursday said that Parliament is a supreme institution of the country.
He said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) always respected the judiciary and the party had given sacrifices for the smooth flow of system.
Talking to a private television channel, he said that all the institutions are accountable according to the law of the country.
He said that no institution is above the law.
Nadeem Afzal said that all the people are equal before the law.
He added that all the people are also accountable according to the Constitution.
He said that PAC can call any institutional head for inquiry about their audit report.
Replying to a question, he said that PAC is working according to the Constitution.
