imageSWAT: Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam has said that KP CM's accusations against the federal government about power pilferage were basless, urging the PTI leadership to stop mudslinging campaign, politics of 'Dharnas' and opposition for the sake of opposition and instead concentrate on welfare of the masses and development of the province.

He was addressing inaugural ceremonies of inauguration of gas projects at Odigram and Gogdara in the district on Saturday.

The PML-N would wholeheartedly support the endeavors of the PTI government in the KP if the same were taken for the progress and welfare of the masses.

PTI was not at all interested in progress and uplift of the province and wanted to spread anarchy and politics of chaos which the people have rejected, he added.

He said the PML-N government was keen to develop every part of the country without any political affiliation and prejudices.

The PML-N government would continue with its agenda of progress and prosperity of the country, he said, adding, people were fed up from politics of agitation and confrontation and wanted resolution of their basic problems.

The Adviosor to Prime Minister said the federal government had taken practical steps for elimination of power outages which included construction of new grid stations and laying of transmission lines across the country.

In Malakand Division, he said, the federal government had approved laying of 12 inch diameter Suigas pipe to overcome the problem of low gas pressure costing Rs 3 billion. The PTI's slogan of change has proved mere eyewash.

Amir Muqam expressed the confidence that the PML-N would give crushing defeat to the PTI candidates due to their poor performance in the next general elections. The PML-N Government withdrew the imposition of Custom Act in Malakand Division which was imposed at the behest of the PTI government.

The PTI MPAs were not familiar to the development activities, hence creating problems for others in the execution of uplift schemes. The people were aware of their negative politicking and would take the revenge from them in the 2018 general elections.
