ISLAMABAD: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that people have rejected politics of protests and sit-ins as the present government is working for their uplift.
In an interview, he said the so-called protest movements launched by opposition parties are just for political point scoring.
He said the government is answerable to the people who would hold it accountable on the basis of its performance in the next general elections, which would be held in 2018.
