imagePESHAWAR: The lawmakers of Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly here Friday said the landslide victory of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) candidates in the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJK LA) elections has reflected the overwhelming confidence of Kashmiris in the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his government.

The Parliamentary leader of PMLN in Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly, Sardar Aurganzaib Khan Nalota told APP that the people of Azad Kashmir have reposed unshakable trust and confidence in the policies of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his Government by electing its candidates in large number in the AJK polls.

He said people of Kashmir have rejected the politics of agitation and containers besides expressing no confidence in the policies of PPP Government in Azad Kashmir. He said the conscious people of AJK has out rightly rejected politics of hollow slogans and negativity.

Nalota said the popularity graph of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has further increased in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and the recent landslide victory of PMLN candidates in AJK Legislative Assembly was a clear proof of it.

The people of AJK has expressed no confidence in the policies of Pakistan Tahrik e Insaf and PPP. He said Kashmiris voted in fovour of PMLN as they wanted solution of their problems and development.

Even in-spite the support and alliances by opposition parties against PMLN, the PTI and PPP candidates could not compete against PML-N candidates and faced crushing defeats in the hands of Kashmiris voters, he said.

He said people of AJK have voted in favour of development," he said, adding masses wanted solution of their problems as they have no concerns with politics of agitation and sits ins or Panama Leaks.

"Those who raised the slogans of 'Change' in the last general election have miserably failed to address problems of masses in Khyber Pakthunkhwa and the recent results in AJK general elections was an eye-opener for all of them.

MPA Rushad Khan while congratulating the newly elected candidates in AJK Elections said the overwhelming success of PMLN candidates demonstrated the high level of confidence of masses in the policies of Federal Government and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said people of AJK has endorsed the Govt's Kashmir policy.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has adapted a bold stance on Kashmir and significantly highlighted this core issue on every international forums in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of people of Kashmir.

The Kashmiris have now realized that only Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has the only leader who has the ability, political acumen and vision to address this core issue in accordance with Kashmiris' wishes.

He said it was Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who had invited Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Lahore where he admitted that Kashmir was a disputed territory and its' peaceful resolution was must for durable peace, progress and stability in the entire region." The Kashmir issue would have been resolved, had the Nawaz government was not toppled by the former dictator," he noted.

He said the opposition parties should now realise that people could not be deceived more on the name of politics of hallow slogans and containers as masses wanted solution of their problems and development.

Saleh Muhammad MPA said landslide victory of candidates of PMLN in AJK Election was a big achievement and honour for the party that has strong roots in all federating units, Gilgit Balistan and Azad Kashmir.

He expressed the hope that the winning candidates of PMLN would come up to the expectations of the people as well as their party leadership and would actively work and serve their electorates with the spirit of devotion.
