LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that transparency, standard and speed were hallmarks of PML-N government in public welfare projects.
He expressed these views while talking to Assembly Members on arrival in the Punjab Assembly at his chamber.
He said that journey of progress had been started under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He said that opponents of public welfare projects neither wanted progress of the country nor prosperity of the people and people had rejected such elements.
He said that conscious people knew who were serving them and who were trying to create anarchy.
The CM said that federal and provincial governments had saved 215 billion rupees of the nation in development projects which was a great achievement while on the other hand no one had saved even 215 paisas in the history of the country.
He said that credit of saving resources of billion of rupees went to Pakistan Muslim League-N government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He said, "Opponents of public welfare projects were doing negative politics and we will complete our mission of public service."
The Chief Minister stressed upon Assembly Members to spare no effort for resolving problems of the people.
Development projects were also discussed in the meeting.
Those who met the Chief Minister included Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sher Ali Gorchani, Members Punjab Assembly Mehr Khalid Mehmood Sargana, Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Ghulam Dastgir Luk, Muhammad Asif Bajwa, Mohsin Ashraf, Mehmood-ul-Hassan Cheema, Dr. Nadia Aziz, Samina Noor Kharal and Iffat Meraj Awan.
