ISLAMABAD: Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan Wednesday said minorities, including Christians, were enjoying complete religious freedom in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said a huge amount was being spent to execute different development schemes in Christian localities for ensuring provision of various amenities of life to them.
He said the last month bomb blast in Lahore showed that war against terrorism was not yet over and people belonging to all religions had to fight unitedly for eliminating the menace.
To a question, he alleged that the "container group" was hatching conspiracies to mislead the people and creating hurdles in the development of the country.
He said the Prime Minister had no link with Panama Leaks and if anyone had evidence in that regard he should present the same before the inquiry commission.
The Commerce Minister said the government was fully focused on the economic revival. The power situation in the country was being improved gradually as electricity tariff had also been reduced, which would definitely benefit the business and industrialist community, he added.
