LAHORE: Central leaders of Jamat-e-Islami Liaquat Balouch and Farid Paracha called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Saturday.
Matters of mutual interest and overall situation of the country were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the country was facing various challenges, however, the Pakistan Muslim League-N government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was determined to eliminate terrorism and extremism and end energy crisis.
He said that unity, consensus and solidarity were much needed in the present situation than ever before.
He said that the political and military leaderships were on one page in the war against terrorism.
He said that the entire nation was united for eliminating terrorists from the country.
