ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Tuesday said that he was staunch supporter of merit through which efficiency could be ensured in the country.
Speaking in the National Assembly, he requested the Prime Minster, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to reconsider the matter of promotion of the CSP's officers.
He said that there should be no pick and choose in the list of the promotions of the officers.
He said the officers who meet the criteria and had a good integrity should be promoted with out any disparity.
