LAHORE: Politics on blasphemy law is deplorable and no body can dare to abolish this law.
These views were expressed by Pakistan Ulema Council central chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi while talking to leaders of Qaumi Masalehati Council here on Thursday.
He said that masajid and madaris would sustain till the last day. He said there was no danger to the blasphemy law in Pakistan, however, all schools of thought were against the misuse of this law.
Ashrafi said that it was responsibility of all schools of thought to decline the wrong use of blasphemy law.
He said the PUC was struggling for the rights of muslims as well as non-muslims and it wanted to transform the country like the state of Madina Munawarah in which rights of everyone would be protected.
