ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain Monday appreciated the humanitarian assistance initiatives of the Muslim Charity Forum (MCF).
The President was talking to a delegation of MCF led by Minister of State for Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony Pir Muhammad Amin-ul-Hasnat Shah that called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President commended the role of MCF for carrying out humanitarian work to alleviate the sufferings of the affectees of various natural and man-made disasters, said a press release.
The President noted with appreciation that MCF was undertaking social welfare initiatives in Pakistan in collaboration with relevant government departments to lessen the troubles of poor segments of the society especially in terrorism hit areas of the country.
The President wished the visiting delegation a pleasant and fruitful visit to Pakistan.
The delegation thanked the President and expressed commitment to continue working for the welfare of the affectees of disasters.
