LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said the Punjab government had formed Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) to resolve the problems of overseas Pakistanis and it would play an important role in this regard.
Talking to President Pakistan Muslim League-N Britain Zubair Gul who called on him here, the Chief Minister said Pakistanis living abroad were the ambassadors of the country.
He said the PML-N government was taking solid steps to steer the country out of all problems, adding that war against terrorism was a war for survival of the country, and political and military leadership were united in this war.
Shahbaz Sharif said all problems being faced by the country would be resolved under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis, Punjab Afzal Bhatti was also present.
