MULTAN: PTI senior leader Mukhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said shrines of saints give message of hope, peace and love and there was need to propagate their message.
Addressing an inauguration ceremony of the 700th urs of Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam, he said even the non-muslims used to give reverence to shrines of saints.
He said mosques were also being targeted by terrorists and innocent people were victims in attacks. He appreciated devotees gesture of visiting the shrine and participating in the urs ceremonies.
On this occasion, Sajadanasheen Mukhdoom shrine Musa Pak Wajahat Hussain Gillani, Sajadanasheen shrine of Taunsa Shareef Khawaja Nasir Mehmood Taunsvi, MNA Amir Dogar, Syed Asad Murtaza Gilani and others were also present.
