imageISLAMABAD: Realizing the founding Ideology of Pakistan, PML(N) government was working on the glorious vision of knowledge, justice, dignity, security, and employment for all and a happy society.

This was stated by PML-N leader and former MNA Hanif Abbasi in an interview with APP.

He said the government was aiming at fabricating a network of roads across the country. The PML-N government he said was aiming for a glorious vision for Pakistan's future, a vision of prosperous and democratic society, a responsible government for an enlightened society based on Islamic values of justice and equity.

"We are struggling to find a stable political order, which would guide us towards the lofty ideals of our founding fathers, he added."

He said that government believed in solid working rather than dwell on what might have been accomplished, it is time to look forward to what can be, and will be accomplished with proper resolve, sound policies, and good governance of PML-N government.

Today, to pull the country and the people out of despair and despondency, we need that winning combination, the spirit of 1947, he added.

Hanif Abbasi who is also chairman of the Metro Bus Project Implementation Committee said that government was planning to implement Rawat to Aabpara Metro Bus project in next phase and then Taxila to Islamabad.

To a question Abbasi said that Metro Bus Project was delayed due to rainy, foggy, cold weather and on going situation which resulted in the country due to protests and sit ins and this project had to be completed by January 30.

Hanif said the cost of the project has not increased and we will try to save money from the allocated funds of Rs. 44 billion he added. He said we have made eleven roads signal free through this project.

He said that neither master plan of Islamabad has been changed nor will greenery be reduced as 1 per cent of the project is being spent on greenery.

Abbasi said in the beginning this project was designed only for Islamabad but government extended it to Rawalpindi and this project has ensured 24 kilometre long signal free travelling to the commuters.

He said this project will benefit one lac and sixty thousand people daily. while down town Murree Road G-9 and Industrial Area have been linked.

More than 5,000 salesmen of Blue Area will also be benefited and sale at business centers at Blue Area will increase on completion of the project he added. "We will provide honourable journey to the poor at the cost of Rs. 20 instead of Rs. 60 between Islamabad and Rawalpindi," he added.

To another question, he said neither we have snatched property from traders nor we have taken any place from traders for this project.

Hanif said government is also focusing on health sector and we have built Rawalpindi Cardiac Hospital, Urology Centre 29 Colleges in Rawalpindi and several others.
