ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan inaugurated the ICT Model One Window Operation Services in the District Administration Complex, G-11/4 here on Wednesday.
The Modern Computerized Citizen Facilitation Center, has been completed on the special directions of Federal Minister for Interior.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch Nisar Ali Khan said that provision of computerized services to the citizens under one roof, is a new gift for Islamabad.
He appreciated the efforts of administration in facilitating the general public and said that new Chief Commissioner, Islamabad, took personal interest in completion of this project in a very short time.
The citizen facilitation center will provide services which include issuance of domicile certificate, issuance of international driving license, no objection certificates for CNG/Petrol Pumps, issuance of declarations for newspapers/printing press and verification of registered documents.
The objective of this facilitation center is to facilitate the general public and ensure effective delivery of public service and smooth and hassle free provision of services, without any inconvenience to the citizens.
The ICT administration will also soon launch a special website providing detailed information of all sorts of services and citizens would be able to download the relevant application forms without wasting of their time.
Soon, similar services would be launched in the district courts also.
ICT administration and NADRA also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to initiate a multi security chip-based vehicle registration cards.
All the vehicles registration books would be replaced by the chip-based registration cards which would contain all the particulars about the vehicle and its owners.
