ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar, which took lives of several innocent children.
Following the tragic incident, Maulana Fazl convened an urgent meeting of the party leaders here and discussed the prevailing situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The JUI-F chief expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
Terming the incident as a 'national tragedy,' he said JUI-F equally shared the grief with members of the victims' families.
Federal Minister for Housing Muhammad Akram Khan Durrani,Minister of State for Postal Services Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, JUI-F Deputy General Secretary Maulana Muhammad Amjad Khan and other leaders also attended the meeting and condemned the incident.
