KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on Tuesday welcomed consensus in the Sindh Assembly on bills approving establishment of one university each at Karachi and Hyderabad and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University at Nawabshah.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Governor greeted to the people of Sindh on passage of the bill for formation of Altaf Hussain University at Karachi and Altaf Hussain University at Hyderabad and other bill for formation of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University at Nawabshah.
He said that passage of bill about formation of universities is manifestation of education friendliness of the members of the Assembly.
He said the formation of more universities in the Sindh province is need of the hour.
