ISLAMABAD: National Data Centre will be completed within next few months and provide value added services to government entities.
Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Ms. Anusha Rahman, who visited National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) Headquarters here on Wednesday, was informed during a briefing.
Chairman, NTC, Brig (Retd) Viqar Rashid Khan gave a brief presentation on performance and achievements of NTC and highlighted challenges, being faced by in a competition in telecom sector.
The Minister appreciated role and performance of NTC in providing telecom services to federal and provincial governments and emphasized that all government funded autonomous bodies should avail telecom and data services from NTC being the only government owned telecom entity providing such services for security reasons.
