imageLAHORE: The Lahore High Court Monday adjourning hearing of a petition, challenging a sessions court order to register a case against the Prime Minister and 20 others over the Model Town incident, issued notices to respondent Director Administration Minhaj ul Quran Jawad Hamid for August 26.

The court also ordered Advocate General Punjab to file a reply and submit arguments.

Justice Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa passed the orders on a petition filed by Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali in their personal capacity.

Earlier, petitioners' counsel Azam Nazeer Tarar arguing before the court, submitted that the petitioners had approached the court for protection of their fundamental rights.
