ISLAMABAD: Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League-Q Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed on Saturday expressed grief over the sad demise of veteran journalist and Chief Editor of Nawai Waqt group and Chairman of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust, Majid Nizami.
Senator Mushahid, in his condolence message to Ms Rameeza Nizami, said the late journalist was an outspoken champion of the Pakistan's Ideology and Two-Nation Theory and his services for democracy and freedom of press in the country would never be forgetton. The period from 1962 onwards had been witness of his selfless struggle for the integrity of Pakistan, he added.
Senator Mushahid, who is also Chairman Senate's Defence Committee, also lauded his support for Kashmir cause, peaceful solution of Palestinian & Bosnian conflicts as well as positive role in the nuclear tests.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and for the courage of the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.
