ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said the electricity loadshedding would be reduced during the holy month of Ramzan, with no outage at Sehar, Iftar and Taraveeh timings.
Talking to Pakistan Television, he said the ministry was working round the clock to improve the power generation and distribution system as per directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The minister said the people could register their complaints on emergency numbers of the ministry or direct numbers of the ministers.
Abid said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government would make all out efforts to eliminate the loadshedding from the country and for the purpose, a number of projects including wind and coal energy had been initiated.
