LAHORE: Ambassador of Qatar, Sayar Abdul Rahman Jassim AlMawdah called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to discuss matters of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral relations here Saturday.
The Chief Minister said that old friendly relations existed between Pakistan and Qatar and Pakistan always gave great importance to relations with Qatar. "We want to further strengthen the trade and economic ties between both the countries," he added.
While, AlMawdah said the government and the people of Qatar had good wishes for Pakistan, adding that Qatar wanted to further promote trade bonds with Pakistan.
