imageISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani has constituted seven benches and a larger bench at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases during the next week, starting from February 10.

The five members larger bench comprising Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Iqbal Hameeur Rahman and Justice Mushir Alam would hear the constitutional petitions under Article 184 regarding allocation of quota for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

The first bench comprised Chief Justice, Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed would hear the cases including election matters of different members of National and Provincial assemblies members, suo-moto action regarding suicide bomb attack of September 22, 2013 on the church in Peshawar, Application on behalf of Saifullah Nyazee, Additional Secretary PTI for recount of votes in 4 constituencies, after verification of thumb impressions and Muttahida Quami Movement?s application regarding delimitation of constituencies in Sindh Province.

The second bench consist of Justice Nasir-Ul-Mulk and Justice Gulzar Ahmed would hear the constitutional petition regarding protection of lives and property of the people of Balochistan, missing persons case, Suo Moto action on a news appeal published in "Daily Mashriq" dated 10.07.2012 whereby it has been alleged that Shaheed awabzada Mir Haqmal Khan Raisani was martyred during ceremony of Sports Festival on Independence day and appeal for missing persons case in Balocistan, while the third bench comprising of Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman and Justice Mushir Alam would hear Human Rights Activist Amina Massod Janjua?s application regarding missing persons and Supreme Court Bar Association application for release of Funds to complete the Supreme Court Bar Association Complex & purchasing Land for Supreme Court Bar Association Cooperative Housing Society. Fourth bench comprised of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany and Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry would hear the cases including action taken on the news clippings regarding scandal of billions of rupees of National Police Foundation Land, Educational Institutions Cases/Admission in Medical Colleges.

The fifth bench consist of Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan. Sixth bench consist of Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Dost Muhammad Khan while seventh bench consist of Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Muhammad Ather Saeed.

According to case lists, no adjournment on any ground will be granted and no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court.
