KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), chief Altaf Hussain has congratulated his party's workers and office bearers on the success of councillors supported by his party in Local Government elections in Balochistan.
Altaf Hussain added that the success of his part's councillors in the LG elections in Balochistan is a proof that it is a national level party and oppressed people of the country were affiliating themselves with it.
In a congratulatory message issued by the party here on Sunday on the success of the councillors he said, "The success of MQM's councillors is the success of the oppressed people of the country."
He added that we would give a surprise gift to people in the upcoming local government elections in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa.
Altaf Hussain paid great tributes to the workers and office bearers of Balochistan's Provincial Committee, members and workers of the Quetta Zone for working with dedication in the elections.
He also congratulated the councillors who emerged victorious in the elections.
He told them that people have reposed trust in them and they should try to come to up their expectations and urged them to solve their problems.
