KARACHI: Provincial Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, called on Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here on Monday evening.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by provincial ministers Syed Owais Muzaffar and Sharjeel Inam Memon.
The prevailing situation in the province, on- going development projects and local bodies elections came up for discussions, says a Governor House statement.
It said that it was agreed at the meeting that for consultation on important decisions all the political parties would be taken in to confidence.
They resolved that for provision of relief to the people the development works would be expanded all over the province without any distinction and that the ongoing development projects would be completed on time. Any hurdles in this regard would be removed promptly.
It was also agreed that with regard to the local bodies polls, the reservations of the stakeholders would be addressed and peaceful and transparent local bodies elections would be ensured.
