ISLAMABAD: Analyst Zia-ud-Din has termed the policy of reconciliation a good step as PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif is trying to make a consensus on national agenda while taking all the stakeholders alongside.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he remarked that PPP is also following policy of reconciliation and wants to form coalition government in Sindh.
However, he added that previously PPP formed a coalition government in Sindh along with MQM and ANP to restore peace in Karachi but it failed in its endeavors despite following the reconciliation policy.
He opined that this time PPP should take responsibilities of restoring peace in Karachi single handedly.
Another analyst Anjum Rashid also termed the meeting between PML-N Chief Main Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari very important for the country.
Anjum Rashid said that PML-N has majority in Punjab while PPP enjoys people's mandate in Sindh; therefore, both the parties should work in collaboration for the purpose of national interest.
He lauded the political maturity of Nawaz Sharif and remarked that policy of reconciliation should continue.
