HYDERABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-i- Islami (JI) will hold a combined protest to condemn the alleged rigging during the May 11 elections in Karachi and Hyderabad districts.
JI's district Ameer Shaikh Shaukat told reporters here Saturday that the two parties would take out a rally from Pakistan Chowk here and stage a sit-in at Gul Center.
He alleged that a political party rigged elections in both the cities and stole the peoples' mandate.
"We demand of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold elections for all the National and Provincial Assemblies' seats in the two districts," he said.
Shaukat said the parties would continue to hold regular protests until their demands were accepted.
