The court directed Tariq Asad, counsel for the affecttees of Lal Masjid, to give his viewpoint about 19 recommendations given in the Commission's report.
Tariq Asad submitted a reply regarding the Commission's report. He said that though the Commission had honestly prepared the report, however, several points had been missed, which needed to be focused.
He said that the people responsible for the Lal Masjid incident had not been named in the report.
The Chief Justice remarked that the report should not be considred as full and final as the Commission had only gave suggestions and recommendations while the final decision would be taken by the law enforcing agencies.
When the bench asked Tariq Asad to go through point-wise replies, he hesitated to reply. Then the court gave him more time to prepare himself for the case by adjourning the case till May 21.
