KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad Khan has said that protection of workers rights is among the top priorities of the government.
In a message on the Labour Day, the Governor said that it is foremost priority of the government to give due rights to the labour class.
The Governor while paying homage to the Chicago Martyrs for their fight against oppression a century ago said that workers are backbone of the economy.
He said good relation between employer and employee are must as satisfied workers were central to the production cycle and national development.
He pledged that each and every step would be taken for empowerment of labour class as it is the driving force behind any industrial and agricultural progress of any country.
