New era of prosperity to usher in country: Ghurki

LAHORE: PPP Lahore President Samina Khalid Ghurki has said a new era of prosperity and stability would usher in the country with PPP voted into power in the general election.

In a statement issued here Saturday, the former PPP minister and candidate for NA-130 (Lahore XIII) said the PPP would provide relief to the masses if voted to power, adding that the PPP would change the lot of Punjab.

Ghurki said all drama by PML-N leadership in Punjab had flopped and voters would make arrow successful in the election.

She alleged the former government of Shahbaz Sharif established a rule of coercion in the province rather than resolving the long-standing issues of the masses across the province.
