imageKARACHI: The Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has deplored the killing of the MQM candidate for PS-47 Hyderabad, Fakhr-ul-Islam near Hala Naka in Hyderabad.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, the Rabita Committee said it was the duty of the caretaker government to take steps for providing security.

The Rabita Committee has called upon the government to order for immediate arrest of the killers of the MQM candidate Fakhr-ul- Islam.

It also called for taking effective measures for providing security to candidates and political workers engaged in the election activities.

The Rabita Committee extended sympathies to the grieving family members of Fakhr-ul-Islam and prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
