LARKANA: A total of 439 candidates have filed their nomination papers for National Assembly and Provincial Assembly Sindh seats from Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot districts for the general elections-2013 to be held on May 11, 2013.
According to details, 135 candidates have filed papers for four National Assembly seats and 304 have filed nomination papers for the eight Sindh Assembly seats in the districts of Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot.
Fifty five candidates from various political parties and independents filed their nominations for NA-204 Old Larkana-I, including Chairperson of PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) Ghinwa Bhutto.
Besides, thirty seven candidates filed their nomination forms for NA-205 Larkana-cum-Kamber-Shahdadkot (Old Larkana-II).
Twenty two candidates belonging to different parties and independents filed their forms for NA-206 Kamber-Shahdadkot (old Larkana-III) and twenty one candidates filed their papers for NA-207 Larkana-cum-Shikarpur-cum-Kamber-Shahdadkot (Old Larkana-IV) including chairperson of PPP (Women Wing) Pakistan and former MNA Ms. Faryal Talpur.
304 candidates including nominees of various political and religious parties as well as independents have filed their nomination papers for the eight Sindh Assembly seats of both the districts.
Forty six candidates filed their nomination forms for PS-35 Larkana-I; sixty nine for PS-36 Larkana city and taluka(Larkana-II), forty three for PS-37 Larkana-cum-Shikarpur (Old Larkana-III), twenty seven for PS-38 Larkana-cum-Kamber-Shahdadkot-I (old Larkana-IV), twenty three for PS-39 Kamber-Shahdadkot-I (Old Larkana-V), nineteen for PS-40 Kamber-Shahdadkot-II(Old Larkana-VI), sixty for PS-41 Larkana-cum-Kamber-Shahdadkot-III(Old Larkana-VII) and seventeen for PS-42 Kamber-Shahdadkot-IV (Old Larkana-VIII).
