MQM chief congratulates Caretaker CM Najam Sethi

KARACHI: The leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain, telephoned prominent journalist and political analyst Najam Sethi and congratulated him on becoming the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.

Talking to Najam Sethi, he said that it was the need of the hour to hold impartial and transparent elections in the country, including the province of the Punjab, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.

Najam Sethi thanked Altaf Hussain and said it would be his foremost priority to hold impartial elections in the province.

He said that he would use all his abilities for free and fair elections.
