Matter of Sultanpur village referred to Defence Standing Committee %9 ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Thursday referred to matter of non-separation of Sultanpur village in Havelian to National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence for deliberation and deciding this long standing issue.The matter was raised to the House by MNAs Dr Ibadullah, Malik Ibrar Ahmed and Abdul Majeed on a Calling Attention Notice seeking intervention of the government to separate this village from the Cantonment Board Havelian.Speaking on behalf of the Defence Minister, MNA Jaffer Iqbal informed the House that the area could not be separated from cantonment Board due to sensitive defence installations in the area.
