Degrees of FDE teachers to be verified within two months: NA told ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Usman Abrahim on Friday informed the National Assembly that a committee has been formed to verify the degrees of teachers working under Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) within two months.Replying during "Question Hour" in the Lower House, the minister said that process had already started and so far degrees of 33 teachers out of 3,979 had been verified."Verification process is taking time due to non-availability of funds" Usman Abrahim added.He said that standard of education in Federal Government schools had considerably improved and the government was taking several steps to improve standard of education.The minister said that Area Education Officers (AEOs) playing important role in monitoring the academic activities of the schools located in Islamabad Capital Territory.Usman Abrahim said that AEOs also helping the FDE on administrative issues of the schools.
