Khaqan directs to strictly observe merit system for NTHP ISLAMABAD: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Tuesday directed the concerned authorities to strictly observe merit system for the selection of poor students for National Talent Hunt Programme (NTHP).The minister said this on the occasion of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ceremony between Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi and Sukkur.The ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal Khan, Chairman OGDCL, officials of IBA Karachi, Sukkur and other senior members of the OGDCL board.Shahid Khaqan requested the OGDCL board to further extend this programme so that more needy students across the country could be benefitted.The minister said that it was the policy of the present government to develop areas adjacent to oil and gas producing fields on priority.He urged stakeholders to put efforts to make successful programme and also assured full ...
