Pak-Iran pipeline, shortest & safest route for gas import: Ayaz ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said the pipeline with Iran was the shortest and safest route for gas import to Pakistan.Talking to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Monday, he said Pakistan was committed to laying the pipeline for transfer of gas from Iran.He said Pakistan was highly interested in enforcing and executing the project as it was the shortest possible path for importing energy.
