CM Sindh for launching operation against encroachments KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the provincial minister for Information and Local Government to launch operation against encroachments and illegal construction on Government land and amenity plots.The chief minister, presiding over a meeting here on Monday expressed displeasure over the encroachments in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana.Minister for Information and Local Government Sharjeel Inam Memon briefing the meeting said that a large number of marriage halls have been constructed on the KMC land. "A similar havoc has also been wreaked with amenity plots meant for parks and community centers.The chief minister directed him to compile a detailed list of the land of KMC and KWSB under the illegal occupation of land mafia within one week.
